Giulia Pex is an illustrator based in Milan, Italy. Born and raised in the faraway country, she started express herself better with images rather than words since she was a kid.
After studying photography she wasn’t fully satisfied, so she decided to join the illustration class at Scuola del Fumetto to focus on her personal drawing style.
She’s been collaborating as illustrator with the newspaper Il Corriere della Sera since 2017.
In 2019 she published her first graphic novel “Khalat” with Hoppipolla Edizioni, which has been out also in France (Presque Lune) and Spain (Liana Editorial).
She currently continues to work as a freelancer to save money to afford a personal dog to pet.
